This is PMR

Founded in May 2002 by industry veteran Deborah Charlton, PMR Companies LLC quickly become a premiere, multi-regional property and asset management organization.

Currently home to more than 250 industry professionals, many of our associates have specialized designations from the institute of Real Estate Management, The National Apartment Association, The National Association of Home Builders and various state and real estate commissions. Additionally, our senior leadership has combined industry experience of more than 250 years.

With our guiding philosophy of “Building Relationships”, PMR views each client, each customer and each vendor as a long-term partner dependent upon trust and performance. With our hands-on style of value enhancement, PMR works to maximize the returns of our clients, create a rewarding and enjoyable environment for our associates and provide the best possible customer service for our residents, commercial tenants, and vendors.

We are proud to have been named annually as a top workplace since 2012 and recognized as property management company of the year in both 2018 and 2022 by the Louisville Apartment Association.

Continuing the legacy built by Deborah Charlton, PMR Companies is now lead by April Charlton Leonardo, Derek VanVactor, and Denny Glover.  All the values that made PMR Companies a trusted leader in third party property management continue to be a priority every day.

The PMR Team is a unique, exceptional group of individuals who share many years of industry experience and who work hand in hand ensuring that processes are seen through and goals are achieved.

The company takes pride in diligently finding the best individuals to join our team and continues to develop them and provide them with all of the tools for success. Our corporate philosophy is that “by taking care of the employees, they will in turn succeed in taking care of the real estate.”

April Leonardo

April joined PMR Companies at inception in 2002, dedicating her professional career to the multi-family industry specializing in conventional, tax credit and low-income housing. April strongly believes in education and guiding employees to reach goals by focusing on their strengths.

Derek VanVactor

Derek joined PMR Companies in 2012 after a long, successful career with Caterpillar in the Earthmoving industry. Committed to building quality relationships both inside and outside of the company, Derek is always available.

Denny Glover

Denny joined PMR Companies in 2004 as Chief Financial Officer with a strong public accounting and financial background. He excels at specialty task for clients and lenders.

Tracy Hawkins

Tracy has been an asset to PMR Companies since 2006 and has led the Operations Team since 2020. Tracy excels with technology, bridging the gap between the on-site teams and Yardi and all other software programs.

Amy Bickel

Jennifer VanVactor

Jennifer brought over 15 years’ experience in multifamily development to PMR Companies in 2011. As the leader of all management, she is vitally connected to every client and site.

Jim Hammock

A veteran of the construction industry, Jim brings over three decades of expertise and a leader for PMR Companies since 2011. His depth of knowledge and hands-on approach maximizes the potential of both capital projects and maintenance.

Derek Brock

Derek Brock joined PMR Companies in 2020 with a passion for FP&A. Derek takes pride in precision accounting, timely financial statement submissions, and excellent customer service.
